Proces Engineer - Injection Molder

As a Process Engineer, you are the key player in our production process. You analyze, optimize, and develop our injection molding processes, always striving for maximum efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You work closely with production, quality assurance, and product development to implement innovations and seize improvement opportunities.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Independently performing test moldings for new products and optimally setting up the corresponding processes;
• Reporting findings from test moldings to the senior process engineer;
• Advising on process and product optimizations, including optimal setup and configuration of machines, robots, and peripheral equipment;
• Performing quality checks, releasing processes, and conducting visual inspections;
• Troubleshooting production-related issues and independently resolving malfunctions;
• Recording daily activities on work cards and/or reporting to production management;
• Providing guidance to production staff with the aim of optimizing the process;
• Logging machine data in the system;
• Correcting production data on the work card for ERP system input;
• Proposing (creative) improvements.

• A completed technical education at a minimum of MBO level 3 or 4 (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, Process Engineering, or Chemical Technology);
• You have completed (internal) training as a test molder or have gained equivalent knowledge through experience;
• Knowledge of raw materials and molds;
• You are capable of working independently, but also value collaboration;
• You are hands-on and able to perform well under pressure;
• You are solution-oriented, using research and creative thinking;
• Good command of Dutch and/or English (German is also a great advantage).
