Coordinator Logistics

The Coordinator is responsible for the efficient daily operations of the department, with a particular focus on supervising warehouse employees. He/She establishes and maintains procedures to meet company and customer requirements; promotes and implements continuous improvement; ensures training, motivation, and functional leadership within the area of responsibility; resolves conflicts; and enforces company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

• The Coordinator may be responsible for two or more of the following departments: order picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, or other tasks.
• Assigning tasks and monitoring execution for accuracy.
• Ensuring a safe work environment and promoting a positive team dynamic, resolving employee-related issues, and taking corrective action when necessary.
• Participating in the Lean Warehousing system on the shop floor.
• Reporting direct, task-related issues.
• Training employees across various departmental functions.
• Identifying and reporting gaps in procedures/processes to the lead or supervisor.
• Training employees to ensure they maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes, policies, and procedures.
• Consciously contributing to the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption.

• MBO-level education in logistics, supply chain management, or an equivalent level obtained through practical experience.
• Minimum required experience: 3+ years of operational experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English. Dutch is a plus.
• Knowledge of LEAN Warehousing is a plus.
• Able to work in an international working environment.
• A strong personality with convincing communication skills.

• Starting salary: From €15.54 gross per hour (excluding shift allowances). This may be higher depending on experience.
• Shift allowances:
• 06:00 – 19:00: 100% = €15.54/hour
• 19:00 – 21:00: 125% = €19.42/hour
• 21:00 – 00:00: 135% = €20.97/hour
• Travel allowance: €0.23 net per km, with a maximum of €8.05 per day (up to 35 km one-way commuting distance).
• Work schedule: 2-shift schedule. (6AM till 2PM and 2PM till 10PM)
